Scorecard not uploaded

Where the scorer has scored the match on the cricHQ app and the game has not recorded on the GMCL scores and tables there are several possible scenarios:-

  1. If the game is shown here (enter team name in search box) in the "LIVE" section then the scorer has scored the game on the "official" fixture but has not uploaded the result.
    1. The scorer should log in to their app on the same device that they scored on, making sure they are connected to wi-fi or data, and then
    2. find the game in "saved", "active" or "finished" (try all 3)
    3. The scorer should then click on the game and then go to Options and "end match and upload"
    4. The game should then move into the Results section on cricHQ and be allocated to the GMCL record
  2. If the game is shown here (enter team name in search box) in the "LIVE" section then the scorer has scored the game on an "unofficial" fixture but has not uploaded the result.
    1. The scorer should log in to their app on the same device that they scored on, making sure they are connected to wi-fi or data, and then
    2. find the game in "saved", "active" or "finished" (try all 3)
    3. The scorer should then click on the game and then go to Options and "end match and upload"
    4. You will then have to e-mail GMCL at fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk and state
      1. Division, Date of Game and teams
      2. and request that the unofficial game is uploaded to results.
      3. The league will request cricHQ to upload the game for you.
  3. If the game is shown here (enter team name in search box) in the "RESULTS" section then the scorer has scored the game on an "unofficial" fixture..
    1. You will then have to e-mail GMCL at fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk and state
      1. Division, Date of Game and teams
      2. and request that the unofficial game is uploaded to results.
      3. The league will request cricHQ to upload the game for you.

If the game is not to be found anywhere in the cricHQ system using the methods above then the game must still be on the app on the device used by the scorer. The scorer must be connected to wi-fi or data and log in to the app using their login details they used when scoring. The user must select the game and select End Match and Upload.  Without an uploaded game we cannot do anything centrally.

The alternative is that the club's cricHQ admin / scorer can manually enter a new scorecard here and select Result Overdue at the right of the screen next to the fixture, they should choose "New Full Scorecard" to enter the stats.

Player statistics not included in League cricHQ stats

The most common error is that the scorer has not used an official player record when adding to the team-

You can see here that the unofficial name is in light type face so these stats will not be included in the leagues official stats.
If you identify such entries on your scorecard that havent been corrected by the league then you should

  1. Ask your club's cricHQ admin to add the player to the team
    1. Log In to cricHQ
    2. Select "Admin" then
    3. Select "Teams",
    4. select the team for the match (1st XI or 2nd XI etc) and then
    5. click on "Select Player" (Green Box) to add them to the team
  2. E-mail fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk and state
    1. Division, Date of Game and teams
    2. and request that the official player (state name) is uploaded to replace (state name)
    3. The league will make the amendment for you.

League cricHQ stats include multiple records for the same person

The most common scenarios are that -

  1. There are multiple records at a club for the same player
    1.  you can ask your club's cricHQ admin to merge you records or
    2. you can e-mail enquiries@gtrmcrcricket.co.uk and ask for your records to be merged
      1. you will need to state clearly which records and when you have seen the duplication
  2. The team at the club does not have the correct players in the squad and so scorers continually create multiple records for the same player
    1. you should ask your club's cricHQ admin to check that all players are allocated to all the teams they play in..

You can also find out how many records there are for an individual in cricHQ by going to www.crichq.com and entering your name in the search box at the top of the page then clicking on the magnifying glass to search in "Players"

you can search for j davis, john davis or "John Davis" (with the quotes) to see different variants, and you can click on each record to see if it relates to you and, if it does make a note of the number in the toolbar at the top. Every record has a separate number. So if you have multiple records make a note of the numbers and

  1. E-mail fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk and state
    1. Your name and current club
    2. state that you have multiple records and list the player numbers
    3. We will merge the records for you.

Scorecard includes "Unsure" Players

Where the scorer does not have the player names during a game or doesnt know fielders names then cricHQ allows the use of "Unsure", "Unsure 1", "Unsure 2" etc.

If you see a scorecard with your name or a team mate's name missing please ask your club's cricHQ admin to follow the Scorecard error procedure below.

Please note that where a club has players shown as "unsure" this may prevent the clubs inclusion in end of season averages and therefore they should be corrected as soon as possible...

Scorecard uploaded but there are errors

It is possible to amend a scorecard after the game but you must contact the league to do this.

The procedure is detailed below, dependent on what you want to do

Please Note:

  • The request must come from the scorer, team captain or a club official.
  • Individuals cannot request that their own or family members batting scores, bowling figures or catches are amended.
  • Amendments will only be carried out if they do not affect the result.
    • Where there is an error that affects the result both captains must agree the amendments requested.
  • At the end of a match the first scorecard submitted to cricHQ is the one automatically accepted as the official result for the game.
    • If both scorers have scored the game on the app then both scorecards will be uploaded but only the first received will be recorded as the official result.

If you require another scorecard to be accepted as the Official Result

Where there are two scorecards uploaded and the scorecard used as the Official Result is not the preferred scorecard and has incorrect figures or you have uploaded a correct manual scorecard

  1. The scorer, captain or club official should e-mail GMCL at fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk and state
    1. Division, Date of Game and teams
    2. and request that the scorecard created by "xxxxxx" is uploaded to results.(this name is visible in the Match Info on the View Scorecard option)
    3. and the e-mail should state why this is required.

If you require an amendment to the scorecard accepted as the Official Result

  • If the whole scorecard is incorrect then you should go to your administration pages and enter a new full scorecard
  • In order to amend a scorecard please copy the following text into an e-mail, enter the details requested and send to fixtures@GtrMcrCricket.co.uk (do not send as an attachment).
  • PLEASE SEND ONE E-MAIL PER GAME THAT YOU REQUIRE AMENDMENT, ,EACH WITH FULL DETAILS
