6.2. League Awards & Qualification

This section covers how we determine the winners of the Annual Individual Awards.

6.2.1. Information on GMCL Awards

6.2.1.1. GMCL Award Winners

6.2.1.1.1. GMCL Awards - All information will be taken from Play Cricket.

6.2.1.1.1.1. It is imperative that your admins ensure that all scorecards are uploaded so that all average calculations will be complete.

6.2.1.1.1.2. Named Professionals and Category 3 Players are not included in League awards, their averages are displayed on the Play Cricket stats on the league website

6.2.1.1.2. GMCL Awards - Presentation

6.2.1.1.2.1. Awards for each Senior Division will be presented at the Annual Presentation Evening. The details of the Senior Awards Event will be placed on the league website and in newsletters.

6.2.1.2. GMCL Awards - Categories for each division

6.2.1.2.1. Award Categories & Qualification

6.2.1.2.1.1. Highest Batting Average: Minimum 50% of Team’s Games, minimum 400 runs (for 22 games or pro-rata if fewer games)

6.2.1.2.1.2. Lowest Bowling Average: Minimum 50% of Team’s Games, minimum 30 wickets (for 22 games or pro-rata if fewer games)

6.2.1.2.1.3. Wicket Keepers: Minimum 50% of Team’s Games, Highest number of victims, no minimum

6.2.1.2.1.4. Fielding: Minimum 50% of Team’s Games, most catches, no minimum
